Located downtown on the Esplanade, the $32.1 million CDN, 100,000ft² Medicine Hat Arts and Heritage Centre consists of a series of cubes made of glass, brick and exposed architectural concrete.

The building is home to the Medicine Hat Museum, an art gallery, an administration building and archives, two theatres, a café, and conference facilities.

The new 750 seat performance hall boasts a ‘full fly-tower’ and acoustic panels to allow for symphony performances. The smaller 200-seat black-box theatre provides additional rehearsal space.
