Halcrow was appointed by COWI-Larsen JV, design and construction management consultants for the new airport terminals at Muscat and Salalah Airports in Oman, to conduct a design review by means of simulation.

The new terminal building at Muscat has been designed to accommodate 12 million passengers in a midfield terminal location, one of a large number of construction projects at the expanding airport. The smaller development at Salalah Airport in southern Oman will have an opening capacity of 2 million passengers.
