On Thursday 2nd February 2012, HRH The Prince of Wales will deliver a lecture on civil engineering and sustainability at a joint Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and Halcrow event in London.
His Royal Highness will give his lecture to an audience of invited guests covering the complete spectrum of infrastructure and built environment disciplines. Representatives from Halcrow, the ICE and a range of client organisations, media and other industry bodies are all expected to attend the event which runs from 10am to 12pm.

Tim Broyd, Halcrow’s group director of technology and innovation and member of the ICE’s Executive Board said, “The aim with the ICE and Halcrow joint series of lectures is to generate debate on some of the key issues of our time. With extremely high profile speakers, the ICE Halcrow Lecture has become, in a short space of time, a must attend event in the diaries of those interested in sustainability, sustainable development, and the future of the built environment.
“Previous lecturers have included Amory Lovins, fo-founder, chairman and chief scientist of the Rocky Mountains Institute and Will Day, chair of the Sustainable Development Commission.
