Halcrow will be showcasing its latest ISIS FAST model – a rapid flood inundation tool that supports emergency planning and preparation.

June 2010

Halcrow will be presenting and exhibiting at the Environment Agency/Defra Flood and Coastal Risk Management Conference (FCRM), at the Telford International Centre from Tuesday 29 June to Thursday 1 July 2010.

FCRM is the leading event of its kind for flood and coastal risk management professionals. Now in its 45th year the event explores the latest thinking and industry best practice.

As part of the event, Halcrow experts will be presenting six papers and exhibiting two poster presentations. Whilst on exhibition stand 48/50, Halcrow’s specialists will be available to discuss the company’s services and how we help address the challenges of flood and coastal risk management.

During the lunchtime session (14:00) on Wednesday 30 June, Halcrow will be showcasing its latest ISIS FAST model – a rapid flood inundation tool that supports emergency planning and preparation. Running hundreds of times faster than conventional two-dimensional hydrodynamic floodplain models, ISIS FAST helps the user understand flood risk and optimise investment planning.
