Halcrow is delighted to welcome Lorna Ball to its expanding transport planning team. Lorna has joined Halcrow’s Derby office as regional manager to head up the transport planning team comprising ten staff.
Lorna joins Halcrow from Faber Maunsell and has eighteen years experience in transport planning and civil engineering for both public and private sector clients.
Lorna is an experienced project manager with a broad range of skills; ranging from strategic concept and issues identification to more detailed scheme development.
For the last seven years Lorna has been working in the East Midlands and has provided transport support for a number of development sites, masterplans and infrastructure improvement schemes. She has specific experience of developing schemes to improve safety of all users and to encourage economic and social regeneration.
