Gordon, 34, will be based in the engineering firm’s Edinburgh office, with a remit to expand the company’s transport planning business within the private development sector.

A Napier University graduate in Civil and Transportation Engineering, Gordon brings with him over twelve years’ experience, having previously worked on a wide variety of projects including the development of Queen Margaret University College’s new campus site at Musselburgh, Griffin Wind Farm in Perthshire and Hazledene Group’s Aberdeen IQ office and hotel development.

Jamie Baxter, regional director for Halcrow said:

“We are delighted to have Gordon on board and I am confident that he will prove to be a real asset to the Halcrow team.

“His wide ranging experience and enthusiasm will be a great advantage as he assists us in the continued development of our transport planning division.”
