Halcrow is delighted to welcome Ralph Watts as regional director of its power business in Europe.

Starting on the 1 June, Ralph will be responsible for the businesses’ development as it responds to the region’s growing energy requirements. Ralph will report to Michael Norton, managing director of Halcrow’s water and power business.

Ralph joins Halcrow from AEA Technology, where he was managing director for nuclear programmes, risk and legacy. He held a number of national and international leadership positions at AEA, heading up defence, business integration and business change and strategy. Ralph’s global experience includes time as president and chief executive officer of Kinectrics Inc, Canada.

With a technical and business management background, Ralph has a first class honours degree in applied physics, MEng in nuclear engineering and MBA in general management. He has a keen interest in client management and business development, new nuclear opportunities and renewable energy.
