Halcrow presents at flood and coastal risk management event

Halcrow will be presenting at the Environment Agency / Defra Flood and Coastal Risk Management (FCRM 09) conference at the Telford  International Centre from Tuesday 30 June to Thursday 2 July 2009.

As part of the event, Halcrow will be presenting 12 papers and exhibiting five posters across the three days.

Halcrow has a conference stand at the event, location 26 - 28 where delegates will be able to meet the presenters and experts in:

  • integrated flood risk management
  • surface water management
  • coastal management
  • environmental management
  • asset and data management
  • spatial sciences
  • water resource planning
  • sustainable development

FCRM 09 is the leading event for flood and coastal management professionals. Now in its 44th year, the event provides a unique forum for experts and practitioners to share policy developments, research results and practical solutions in the management of river and coastal flood risks and coastal erosion.

Areas to be covered at the conference include; climate change, coastal monitoring, representing reality, risk, flood risk science, human health and community, urban management, coastal adaptation, restoration, environmental management, innovation and good practice, forecasting and warning.
