Halcrow named UK low carbon industrial strategy partner

Sustainability director, Andrew Kluth

Halcrow will provide technical advice for businesses on the uptake, development and marketing of low carbon solutions

July 2009

Halcrow has been identified as a key partner in the UK government's low carbon industrial strategy, a white paper published on 15 July 2009.

Supporting its strategic partner, Tomorrow’s Company, Halcrow will work in partnership with the government and a number of other businesses and organisations to produce a guide to reducing industrial carbon emissions. The initiative is also gained supported by other leading UK and international organisations such as HSBC, Ogilvy & Mather, Marks & Spencer and the Carbon Trust.

Halcrow will provide technical advice for businesses on the uptake, development and marketing of low carbon solutions. The guide, which will be published this autumn, will be aimed at small and medium enterprises as part of the push towards a low carbon transition for the economy - one of the strategy’s four key strands.

The strategy can be downloaded here. Halcrow is named on page 74. For more information, contact Andrew Kluth
