The evening was a success for both parties with high attendance and positive feedback for the presentation

July 2009

Members of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) met at Halcrow’s Swindon office on Tuesday 14 July for a Halcrow / IET joint event.

The evening affair hosted 35 people including Ray Lewington, chair of the IET Swindon committee. Presentations included one from Halcrow’s market sector manager for water resources in the south-west, Tim Marshall. He shared his experience of Halcrow’s carbon costing exercise carried out for Dwr Welsh Water (DCWW) at the event.

The evening was a success for both parties with high attendance and positive feedback for the presentation, facilities and overall organisation.

A future presentation is planned on renewable energy, wind, wave and biomass for 12 January 2010.
